Discover some of the great places you can visit and ride to while circling Lake Michigan leaving from your driveway. New bike trails, great hidden roads, one of a kind D-day landing craft, civil war intrigue, historic supper clubs and many more sights all on the way to a biker's paradise on Mackinac Island. Continue north to Sault Ste Marie and Canada before crossing the U.P. and heading south through Wisconsin back to Illinois.
This trip done with a support vehicle but no dedicated support driver will be compared to the same trip ridden in 1977 with panniers while camping. See what bike touring and navigation looked like in 1977 compared to 2018. See if some of the sights have changed over 40 years. Bill doesn't think the rider has changed but come see for yourself.
