Chicago Honor Ride
Date: Sunday June 10th, 2018
Hello!
I am reaching out in regards to a cycling event we are hosting in the Chicago Area.
I am from a nonprofit called Project Hero, we host rehabilitative cycling events for injured veterans and we
are hosting our fundraising events, the Chicago Honor Ride on June 10th, starting at Evanston Subaru,
in Skokie. Do you guys have a community calendar we could possibly post our event on?
I have attached a flier to this email if you would be interested in passing it along to your participants,
and I included a link to our registration page for more information. If you are interested in starting a team, the team captain gets to sign up for free using a discount code, and I would be more than happy to set up a $10 off discount code for members that would like to join your team! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

MB Bike The Drive
Date: Sunday May 27th, 2018
I hope this email finds you well! My name is Gabby, and I’m the volunteer coordinator at Active Transportation Alliance.
As you may know, MB Bike the Drive is happening on May 27th. This event is our largest fundraiser of the year and supports our
work to make walking, biking and public transit safe and fun throughout Chicagoland.
In preparation, I’m in search of volunteers to help out during the event. We have a variety of volunteer positions both on bike and on foot,
but we are especially looking for bike-savvy volunteers to act as ride marshals, as well as rest stop volunteers and course marshals.
Volunteers get a free t-shirt and pancake breakfast! Also, groups of 15 or more who volunteer together are eligible to earn a $200 stipend.
Would members of Arlington Heights Bicycle Club be interested in getting involved? Individual volunteers can register and find additional
details at http://www.bikethedrive.org/volunteer. If your club would like to volunteer as a group, please reach out to me directly.
If you would prefer to ride MB Bike the Drive, you can find out more information at http://www.bikethedrive.org/register.
Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted group pricing! And, as a bike club president or contact, you’re eligible to become a
2018 MB Bike the Drive Ambassador if you register or are already registered to ride. Your mission, should you choose to accept,
is to get 3 friends to sign up for the 2018 MB Bike the Drive! If you get 3 friends to register,
we will provide YOU with FREE entry for MB Bike the Drive 2019. If you're up for the challenge we’ll provide you with a custom $5 off
code and some messaging about the event that you can share with your friends and family who have not yet registered.
Feel free to reach out to me if you’d like any more information to pass along to your group about volunteering.
If you’d like more information on registering to ride or becoming an Ambassador, please contact Kerry at kerry@activetrans.org.
If this email has reached you in error, please let me know!
Cheers,
Gabby
