The Arlington Heights Park District invited residents to a meeting to plan the creation of a cycling club in Arlington Heights.
The major subject discussed at the first meeting was the formation of a bicycle club and also the up-coming breakfast bike hike to Busse Woods on May 15. Police protection was used due to construction of Arlington Heights Road. Mayor Pahl of Elk Grove Village meet the group and rode the EGV portion.
